According to US health officials there are no reports that arouse new safety concerns over two children's vaccines that have been suspended in Japan following the deaths of four babies.

Toxic man-made chemicals-such as polychlorinated biphenyls and organochlorine pesticides-that are absorbed into the body and stored in fat may be released into the bloodstream during the rapid fat loss that follows bariatric surgery, according to a study from researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Researchers have identified a gene variant which explains why some patients with Parkinson's Disease respond well to drug treatment and other do not.
A U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review has found only limited evidence for an association between eating tomatoes and a decreased risk of certain cancers, according to an article published online July 10 in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
