Fraunhofer USA Center for Molecular Biotechnology (CMB) announced today it has initiated the first human trial of plant-produced H1N1 influenza vaccine at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research Clinical Trials Center (WRAIR-CTC).
The pandemic COVID-19 has affected more than 825,000 people in the US, but the daily number of new cases and deaths is not precise. A new study published on the preprint server medRxiv in April 2020 reports that Internet search interest could be used as a means to predict the daily incidence of cases in the US, as was proved in China.
The study of new non-invasive biomarkers able to identify the Parkinson's disease from the speech of patients is the joint work carried out by researchers from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Johns Hopkins University.
A new study has demonstrated no significant benefit of taking the drug bosentan for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
