United Auto Workers leaders on Tuesday agreed to accept up to 20% of General Motors stock, as well as concessions on labor rules and retiree health care obligations, as the automaker faces a June 1 deadline to restructure or seek bankruptcy protection, the Detroit News reports (Aguilar/Shepardson, Detroit News, 5/27).
Merge Healthcare Incorporated today announced the pricing of its $200 million aggregate principal amount of 11.75% senior secured notes due 2015. The issue price is 97.266% of the principal amount of the notes. The notes were offered in a private placement pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The sale of the notes is expected to close on or about April 28, 2010.
