A team of researchers from USC and NYU has developed and patented a small molecule that interferes with cancer progression with minimal side effects.
This new study published in the journal "Cytogenetic and Genome Research" shows significantly shorter telomeres and higher erosion rates in men than in women, which likely causes a shorter life expectancy of male cells and tissues.
Researchers have identified cytokine gene variations in women with breast cancer that may help to identify those at increased risk for sleep disturbance following surgery.
