A new technology called the Pipeline embolization device (PED) shows encouraging results in patients with certain types of difficult-to-treat brain aneurysms, reports the December issue of Neurosurgery, official journal of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
The Society for Integrative Oncology announced today that it is collaborating with the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Inc., the world's leading professional organization of its kind representing oncology professionals who care for people living with cancer, to develop a series of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for integrative therapies in oncology care.
Student athletes will soon have access to free injury evaluations by an orthopaedic physician on Saturdays at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
