Personal health coaching company Onlife Health, Inc. has moved into new offices specifically designed to foster positive living and workplace wellness among the company's employees. Onlife consolidated its three separate offices into one larger 55,000-square-foot space when it relocated to the Horizon Center in Brentwood, Tenn., this month, giving the company more capacity for continued growth.
A new study based on national insurance claims in the United States found that patients with obesity who had gastric bypass surgery cut their healthcare costs by nearly 40 percent after four years, and by 80 percent, if they also had type 2 diabetes before surgery.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking deeper at the tobacco levels in the flavoured tobacco products closely. These menthol or fruit flavoured cigarettes are more appealing to young people who take up smoking, they find. These have also escaped the regulations regarding tobacco usage for years now.
Griffith University's Institute for Glycomics has launched human trials for a vaccine against Streptococcus A, the germ that causes rheumatic fever.
