"The Intellectual Property & Science division of Thomson Reuters on Tuesday announced the publication of a new study tracking the current status of research on neglected tropical diseases [NTDs]," a Thomson Reuters Corporation press release reports.
In support of the Government of Canada's commitment to strengthening Canada's healthcare system, the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of Health, announced today funding for 25 policy-relevant research projects across six provinces.
The number of children suffering from mental disorders and health problems such as allergies and asthma has risen sharply over the past decade in this country. The United States and European countries are also facing the increasingly serious problems of premature births and childhood obesity, in addition to allergic reactions. Many experts say the rise in health problems involving children is related to the use of chemicals in our daily lives and the impact of medical treatment provided to the children's mothers.
Australian health is about to get a massive make over according to the four year time schedule and plans announced by the Federal Government. The plans include major reforms that will be undertaken over the next two years.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, people have grown accustomed to wearing facemasks, but many coverings are fragile and not easily disinfected. Metal foams are durable, and their small pores and large surface areas suggest they could effectively filter out microbes. Now
