Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis have received two grants from the National Institutes of Health totaling more than $5 million to study two types of parasitic worm infection that cause devastating illness in millions of people worldwide.
A team headed by Vincent Pasque at his Lab at KU Leuven alongside researchers from the Jean-Christophe Marine lab and the Edith Heard lab have made a significant step towards developing a treatment for Rett syndrome and other X chromosome linked disorders.
Four Geisinger Health System researchers have taken center stage in the national arena of genomics thanks to new funding from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), an arm of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
