The cellulose produced by bacteria could be used for artificial blood vessels in the future as it carries a lower risk of blood clots than the synthetic materials currently used for bypass operations, reveals a thesis from the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings announced today the availability of a 4th generation HIV antigen/antibody combination assay and a new diagnostic algorithm that improves screening for HIV infection.
Noveko International Inc. ("the Company") announces that its subsidiary Noveko Inc. ("Noveko") has won a first order from Air Transat, Canada's leading holiday travel airline, for some 500,000 Noveko(TM) antimicrobial face masks and respirators as well as for AZURO(TM) hand sanitizers.
The skeleton is constantly being remodelled by the breakdown of old bone by cells called osteoclasts and the formation of new bone by cells called osteoblasts.
