Congressman Fattah releases the following statement urging the House and Senate to simultaneously pass Senate healthcare bill and House-Senate-White House negotiated improvements.
New research into controversial pay-for-performance schemes has suggested they may help to save the lives of NHS patients.
Scientists have shed light on why some people who have a stroke do not also have abnormal heart rhythms, even though their hearts contain similar scar tissue. Their results, published today in eLife, could help identify the best treatments for people who might be at risk of recurrent stroke, new heart disorders, or both.
A survey of men age 40 to 74 found that 54 percent said that they would still opt for a popular prostate cancer screening test despite recent recommendations that the test not be performed, finds a new study in American Journal of Preventive Medicine. Only 13 percent said they would choose not to be tested.
Our research into gynaecological oncology focuses around understanding mechanisms of how genes are regulated or how they become dysregulated in a disease; and also the effects that has on the surface of the endometrium and also the function of the ovaries...
