Beetroot may reduce the risk of kidney failure in patients having a heart x-ray, according to research led by Queen Mary University of London.
When a bomb technician inspects a potential explosive device, the bulky protective suit might be the only defense he or she has. Bomb suit manufacturers run tests on their protective suits to ensure they can withstand an explosion, but there currently is no single set of requirements that the suits must meet before they can be sold.
The plans for an amendment to legislation which will allow all state schools to hold a spare adrenaline injector for use in case of emergencies continues to progress positively. We have been informed today by the Department of Health that this change is to come into effect in October of this year.
