An analysis demonstrating the ability of DX-88 (ecallantide) to resolve symptoms of acute hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks in all anatomic locations and to sustain effect will be presented in an oral presentation this week at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) 2009 Annual Meeting in Miami Beach.
Having good postural control at admission to a skilled nursing facility after a stroke significantly increases elderly patients' chances of achieving a successful discharge to independent living and having good functional status at discharge, study results show.
The number of health savings accounts (HSAs) and health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) increased to 5.7 million in 2010, according to a new report by the nonpartisan Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). Assets in these account-based health plans increased to $7.7 billion in 2010.
