The first study to report the effects vitamin D has on the immune system of people with lupus was reported this week a the American College of Rheumatology Annual Scientific Meeting in Chicago.
The formal European Launch of Lab Tests Online, the peer reviewed, patient-centred, non-commercial source of information on laboratory testing, will take place on Thursday, 31 January at La Bibliotheque Solvay in Brussels.
Researchers say mass immunization will terminate the disease, or immunizing 66% of the population with a 90% efficacy vaccine will achieve herd immunity.
Certificate of Need, a form of state government regulation designed to keep mortality rates and health care costs down, appears to do neither for heart bypass surgery, according to a health economics researcher at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine (BCM).
