Cintas Corporation today launched its new comprehensive safe floor program. Developed to provide a cost-effective solution for protecting and maintaining floors on a daily basis, the program enables businesses to maximize the life of flooring while improving safety and image. Its mats are designed to capture contaminants and moisture before they are tracked through a facility, while Cintas' services remove them in order to reduce slips and falls.
Chemotherapy, followed by the surgical removal of the affected tissue is the treatment usually adapted to bone tumors. An implant which can fill the areas of subtraction, while releasing chemotherapeutical agents locally, in a controlled manner, during the treatment period, is the aim of a research led by the Research Centre in Ceramic Material and Composites (CICECO/UA). In these experiences, specialists are using potential "anti-tumor" drugs coated by nanocapsules.
Aortic stenosis is the most common heart valve disease in the elderly. It is associated with congenital bicuspid aortic valve and previous rheumatic heart disease, but is also often caused by calcification of a normal valve. Calcification of a normal valve may be associated with atherosclerotic changes in the portion of the aorta closest to the valve.
Following Medicare's approval of its prescription drug discount card, the Pharmacy Care Alliance today announced that its growing network of pharmacies includes more than 31,000 chain and 10,000 independent representing more than 41,000 local pharmacies across the U.S.
