The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has chosen two leading aging researchers at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University to chair panels at the first symposium on "geroscience"-the study of how aging influences the onset of chronic diseases.
The results of a survey conducted by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry showed that virtually all Americans - 99.7 percent to be exact - believe that a nice looking smile is an important physical asset. Dr. Michael Lenz, DMD of Wilmington Dental Associates sees countless patients who don't like the way their teeth look and are eager to improve their smiles at his Wilmington cosmetic dentistry.
BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. announced today that its abstract showing the results of a Phase 2 clinical study of BEMA Buprenorphine in the treatment of pain has been selected for oral presentation at Pain Week 2010, a national conference educating frontline clinicians who are faced with treating patients with pain. The presentation will take place on Friday, September 10, as part of the 7:00 - 9:00 AM podium presentation session.
Erythropoietin (EPO) is a medication used to stimulate the production of new red blood cells, which is impaired in individuals with kidney failure. Unfortunately, however, the treatment may increase the risk of hip fractures.
