The survey of people who have had a predictive genetic test for various inherited conditions aims to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of genetic test information on people's lives and to examine cases of alleged discrimination.
For the first time, researchers have established a clear link between accepting family attitudes and behaviors towards their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children and significantly decreased risk and better overall health in adulthood.
Once breast cancer spreads to bone, treatment becomes nearly impossible. Breast cancer cells can lie dormant in the bone, often undetectable and able to escape typical treatments.
