An international team of researchers led by scientists at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego has deciphered the genome of a tropical marine organism known to produce substances potentially useful against human diseases.
"International development agencies may be able to save the lives of a greater number of undernourished children by changing how they allocate food aid in developing countries, suggests a study published [Monday] in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences," SciDev.Net reports.
CoAxia™, Inc. of Maple Grove, MN, announced today the completion of enrollment in its SENTIS randomized, controlled, pivotal trial of NeuroFlo™ Perfusion Augmentation Therapy as an acute interventional treatment for ischemic stroke. The Company plans to complete data collection and analysis of results in Q3 of 2010 and, if warranted, submit a PMA to the US FDA.
