Generex Biotechnology Corporation today announced presentations in respect of the technologies and development products of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Antigen Express, Inc. The presentations were made at the conference Gene based Vaccines: Optimizing Development and Delivery 2010 held September 13 and 14, 2010 in Vienna, Austria and at the Immunotherapeutics and Vaccine Summit held in Cambridge, MA from August 17-19, 2010.
Researchers from the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University have found a way to use artificial intelligence to fight a complication of diabetes that affects the eyes. This advance has the potential to reduce the worldwide rate of vision loss due to diabetes.
Clot-busting drugs are the main treatment for stroke, but they have often not been recommended for people who have an aneurysm in their brains that has not ruptured. An aneurysm is a bulge in the wall of a blood vessel in the brain.
The Ebola virus disease (EVD) is a deadly infection that is highly contagious. It has taken thousands of lives across history, with a number of outbreaks mostly happening in West Africa. In the worse outbreak, between 2014 and 2016, there had been 28,616 cases of EVD, 11,310 of whom had died in the continent. Overseas, there had been 36 cases and 15 deaths.
This release will explain how these important technologies encourage high utilization rates across multiple service lines, bringing value to hospitals.
