According to a new study published August 23, 2004 in the online edition of CANCER, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Cancer Society, African-American women had significantly lower immediate breast reconstruction rates compared to Caucasian, Asian, and Hispanic women. Wolters Kluwer Health and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) today announced an agreement to publish the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy, Official Journal of the Acute Care Section of the APTA, effective with the September 2013 issue.
