Chronic liver failure is a major health problem that causes about one million deaths around the world each year. A study published April 11th by Cell Press in the journal Cell reveals a new type of screen for identifying genes that promote liver repair in mouse models of both acute and chronic liver disease.
Australian researchers from Walter and Eliza Hall Institute have discovered a new form of immune cells within the ducts of the breast that keeps the breasts healthy. The study was published this week in the journal Nature Cell Biology.
Scientists have discovered that a cellular enzyme helps ferry HIV genetic instructions out of the cell nucleus where they can then be translated into proteins to begin their most destructive work.
From November 14-17, the "2018 Shunde Biomedical Industry Investment Promotion Conference" which ran in parallel with the Precision Medicine and Ion Channel Retreat was successfully held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Shunde, Guang Dong, China.
