Wells Fargo & Company's (NYSE: WFC) Student Insurance Division and ImPACT Applications have joined forces to launch Play It Safe Concussion CareSM - a new concussion management treatment and services solution for youth athletes nationwide. The program provides concussion medical expense benefits for athletes who sustain a covered head injury. An innovative approach to concussion management, Play It Safe Concussion Care provides education, neurocognitive testing, access to medical professionals who are credentialed ImPACT (Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing), consultants, and excess insurance coverage to protect the financial well-being of youth athletes and their families.
A new study shows that robotic video-assisted lung resection to remove a tumor achieves comparable outcomes with no significant differences in complications compared to conventional video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), and robotic VATS (RVATS) may allow for preservation of more healthy lung tissue.
