Analysts International Corporation (AIC) (NASDAQ: ANLY), an information technology services company, today announced that it has sold the assets of Medical Concepts Staffing, a full-service nurse staffing agency and subsidiary of AIC, to Temps, Inc., a national provider of supplemental healthcare professionals.
New research proves that a change in a particular gene can identify which patients with a specific kind of brain cancer will respond better to treatment. Testing for the gene can distinguish patients with a more- or less-aggressive form of glioblastoma, the most common and an often-fatal type of primary brain cancer, and help guide therapy, the researchers say.
Asthma and chronic rhinosinusitis- sinus inflammation that lasts for at least three months- are serious and costly diseases, and both are on the rise. According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, CRS affects up to 16 percent of the U.S. adult population and eats up a staggering 5 percent of the country's health care budget each year.
Dassault Systèmes, a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that InnerPulse, a medical device company pioneering a novel technology for those patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, has selected Abaqus finite element analysis (FEA) software from the SIMULIA to assist in development of their technology designed in SolidWorks CAD software.
