In the third quarter of 2009, sanofi-aventis generated net sales of euro 7,400 million, up 8.0% on a reported basis. A new study published in the December 26th online issue of the journal Pediatrics suggests that the extent of attachment security between mother and child when the child is aged between 15 and 36 months appears to be related to the risk for obesity in that child when it is 15 years old. The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health.
More than 17.5 million people die from cardiovascular disease (CVD) each year - making it the number one cause of death worldwide.
