The Rett Syndrome Association of Massachusetts and Rettsyndrome.org announce today their renewed commitment to work together to defeat Rett syndrome. A generous $85,000 donation from RSAM will support an ongoing clinical trial for Rettsyndrome.org at Boston Children's Hospital.
Despite being touted by their manufacturers as a healthy alternative to cigarettes, e-cigarettes appear in a laboratory study to increase the virulence of drug- resistant and potentially life-threatening bacteria, while decreasing the ability of human cells to kill these bacteria
According to a recent research, resistance training improves the health of over 65-year-olds, and the benefits occur even when some people train as little as once per week. The benefits show in improvements in blood values, muscle strength and mental well-being.
A new type of high-sensitivity and low-cost sensors, called plasmonic biosensors, could ultimately become a key asset in personalised medicine by helping to diagnose diseases at an early stage.
