Designed to improve today's routine radiographic procedures, the RadPRO® product line from Virtual Imaging, Inc., a Canon U.S.A., Inc. subsidiary, will feature Canon's current line of advanced portable and general digital radiography (DR) systems at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2009), taking place at McCormick Place, November 29 – December 3.

A phase 1 clinical trial published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology found that radavirsen - an antisense oligomer that inhibits the production of certain influenza proteins - is safe and well-tolerated in healthy individuals.
The vast majority of already published and relevant clinical trials of a given drug, device or procedure are routinely ignored by scientists conducting new research on the same topic, a new Johns Hopkins study suggests.
