Parents who decline to get their child vaccinated against the flu may be exposed to a limited range of information, a new national poll suggests.
A new, Yale-led study examines shifts in fertility behaviors among Generation X women in the United States - those born between 1965-1982 - compared to their Baby Boomer counterparts, and explores whether the fertility of college-educated women is increasing more quickly across cohorts in Generation X than the fertility of their less educated counterparts.
InfoMedics, Inc., a company that engages patients and physicians to communicate better through the delivery of treatment feedback, has poster presentations at three industry conferences in October 2009. All of these studies provide a unique look at real-life patient feedback regarding experiences with medications for chronic conditions including ulcerative colitis (UC) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and children.
An international clinical trial that used genetic testing to guide which antiplatelet medication was given to patients following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) did not meet its stated goal for cutting in half the incidence of serious adverse cardiovascular events, such as heart attack and stroke, in the year following the procedure.
