MILabs is pleased to announce that Sunnybrook Research Institute, the research arm of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, located in Toronto, Canada will install a MILabs VECTor+ system to expand their current preclinical molecular imaging capabilities.
Researchers from Boston College have developed a new class of small molecule receptors capable of detecting a lipid molecule that reveals the telltale signs of cellular death, particularly cancer cells targeted by anti-cancer drugs, the team reports in the current electronic edition of the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
By far, the most common injuries seen in emergency rooms in the United States are those affecting extremities. Immobilization is the most common treatment, and yet, until recently, it was unknown exactly why this technique worked to advance healing.
SuperGen, Inc., a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel cancer therapies, today announced the acceptance of three abstracts from the SuperGen PIM kinase inhibitor program. Poster presentations by SuperGen and collaborators will occur on April 3 and 5, 2011 at the American Association for Cancer Research 102nd Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
