Low-income countries with less-developed health systems are more likely to have a higher rate of grant implementation than nations with higher incomes and more developed health systems, according to a study in this week's Lancet.
Genetadi Biotech has presented to the scientific community - meeting at the XXVI National Congress on Human Genetics held in Murcia - a prenatal diagnostic device based on amniocentesis.
Nearly 3,000 Puerto Ricans died as a result of the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria last year, a number that dwarfs the government's initial tally of 64, according to a report commissioned by Puerto Rican officials and released Tuesday.
