Results of a preliminary study in this week's issue of THE LANCET suggest a step forward in our understanding of the processes behind narcolepsy; there appears to be an underlying autoimmune process for people with a certain genetic profile. Future diagnostic testing of people with this profile should lead to substantial improvements in disease treatment.
Randomized controlled trials (RCT) of psychotherapeutic interventions have addressed depression and demoralization associated with acute coronary syndromes.
Manhattan Scientifics, Inc. said today that a July 20th New York Times article titled "Prone to Error: Earliest Steps to Find Cancer" highlights the potential value of the early cancer detection technology developed by Senior Scientific, LLC and licensed by Manhattan Scientifics.
