A new study reports this finding, along with varying antibody prevalence among different groups and regions and between different age groups. In the current paper, available as a preprint on the medRxiv* server, the results of the sixth round of the REACT-2 study are reported.
Worldwide Innovative Network (WIN) in personalized cancer medicine consortium today proudly announced that Pfizer, Inc (NYSE:PFE) is the first pharmaceutical company to become a member of the consortium. Founded on the recognition that greater success can be achieved through collaboration than any organization can achieve alone, the WIN Consortium is a global network of leading academic, industry, and patient advocacy organizations working to make personalized cancer care a reality for patients worldwide.

But it's the idea that a frog can produce life-saving medicine that's currently the subject of an international research project involving Professor Chris Shaw and colleagues at Queen's University Belfast, in Northern Ireland. They have discovered proteins in frog skins that could be used to treat cancer, diabetes, strokes and transplant patients by regulating the growth of blood vessels.
Politico: "Senate and House leaders are hoping to close up shop for the year by Dec. 18, even though neither chamber has figured out the end game for health care reform and must-pass appropriations bills." House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said Tuesday that both he and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., are targeting that day 18 as "a last day for this session of Congress."
Monitoring a wound is critical, especially in diabetic patients, whose lack of sensation due to nerve damage can lead to infection of a lesion and, ultimately, amputation.
