Bionomics Limited (ASX: BNO, OTCQX: BNOEF) today announced that it will present a poster with new data on the DisrupTOR-1 trial of BNC105 in patients with metastatic renal cancer at the 7th Asian Oncology Summit being held from April 10-12, 2015 in Shanghai, China.
A new study published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology journal suggests that reducing sugar content in sugar sweetened drinks (including fruit juices) in the UK by 40% over five years, without replacing them with any artificial sweeteners, could prevent 500,000 cases of overweight and 1 million cases of obesity, in turn preventing around 300,000 cases of type 2 diabetes, over two decades.
A study conducted at the Montreal Heart Institute has shown unexpectedly that living with children is linked to a reduction in physical activity. Carried out with 756 participants and led by Dr. Simon L. Bacon, Associate Researcher at the MHI and Professor at Concordia University, the study assessed the impact of social networks on exercise, revealing that people with heart disease who live with children exercise less than those people who do not live with children.
AstraZeneca, Third quarter revenue increased by 10 percent at constant exchange rates (CER) to $8,200 million.
