Alkermes plc today announced the initiation of the second phase 2 study of ALKS 3831, a novel, oral, broad-spectrum antipsychotic medicine in development for schizophrenia.
Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the most lethal disease among gynecologic malignancies. Patients with an advanced disease often relapse due to the development of chemoresistance. Chemotherapy failure is a consequence of acquired drug resistance which may potentially be due to multiple mechanisms including miRNA-mediated gene regulation.
Researchers at OHSU's OGI School of Science & Engineering have launched a unique, new research project that will use advanced speech and language technologies to better understand childhood communication disorders.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research has awarded Durin Technologies, Inc., a grant of $351,200 to expand the development of Durin's novel blood test that can detect the presence of Parkinson's disease.
