Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported on the financial stress caused by high medical costs.
A new study suggests that many women do feel depressed after sex. The study involved more than 200 young Australian women who were questioned about their sex lives. At least one in three young women said they experienced post-coital blues at some point in their lives. Ten per cent said they frequently or almost always felt sad after making love. The study was published in the quarterly International Journal of Sexual Health.
Cancer Research UK and the Cancer Research Technology Pioneer Fund have committed £2.5 million in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute in the US to tackle one of the toughest challenges in cancer that has thwarted researchers for more than 30 years.
"The health-care overhaul gained popularity from May to June, according to a new tracking poll." The poll, conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation "found that 48 percent of the public had a favorable view of the law in June while 41 percent had an unfavorable opinion." (Kaiser Health News is a program of the foundation.) In May, the tracking poll had found "41 percent favorable to 44 percent unfavorable."
University of Kansas researchers have found that certain specific parenting practices are significantly associated with the development of communication and language skills in children with Fragile X syndrome.
