Researchers in the United States have conducted a study showing that the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna generate a coordinated adaptive immune response that is capable of eliciting recall responses to future infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
In his 2014 State of the Union address, President Barack Obama referred to an August 2013 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study that showed a decline in the obesity rate among low-income pre-school children, saying, "Michelle's Let's Move! partnership with schools, businesses and local leaders has helped bring down childhood obesity rates for the first time in 30 years, and that's an achievement that will improve lives and reduce health care costs for decades to come."

Bayer HealthCare and Onyx Pharmaceuticals today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Priority Review designation to the supplemental New Drug Application for the oral multi-kinase inhibitor Nexavar (sorafenib) tablets under evaluation for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer.
Offering patients a roster of clinicians on their care team increased recognition of each clinician's name and face during their treatment period, something patients also reported as highly significant to their care, according to research presented at American College of Cardiology Quality Summit Virtual, taking place Sept. 29 – Oct. 1, 2021.
