A research team drawn from the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering of the Polytechnic University School and from the Faculty of Informatics at the Donostia-San Sebastian campus of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and led by lecturer Miren Karmele Lopez de Ipina, is developing systems that process and understand spoken language and automatically obtain information particularly from Basque radio and television.
After reviewing a database of gene mutations in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a team of Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) researchers decided to study a specific gene mutation that likely caused ASD in a girl.
Scientists from Würzburg and the US have charted the first global atlas of direct interactions between SARS-CoV-2 RNA and human host cells. This may provide a starting point for novel treatments.
Leaders of the Institute for Clinical Quality and Value (ICQV) have officially dissolved the organization effective June 30, 2011 and endorsed the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) as the best venue for healthcare leaders to share ideas, experiences, and best practices in the creation of structures, programs, and initiatives that improve clinical quality and efficiency.
