Abbott announces research confirming presence of lutein in key regions of the infant brain

Preliminary new research demonstrates for the first time that lutein, an important phytonutrient (plant-based nutrient) that supports eye health, is the predominant carotenoid present in key areas of the infant brain, including areas that regulate overall brain function, cognition, vision, hearing and speech. This new research, supported by Abbott, was presented by Elizabeth Johnson, PhD, a scientist in the Carotenoids and Health Laboratory at Tufts University, at the 16th International Symposium on Carotenoids, in Krakow, Poland.

Endo International announces pricing of $1.635 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.00% senior notes

Endo International plc today announced that Endo Limited, Endo Finance LLC and Endo Finco Inc. (collectively, the "Issuers"), its wholly-owned subsidiaries, priced $1.635 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.00% senior notes due July 2023 at an issue price of $1,000 per $1,000 principal amount in connection with their previously announced private offering.

New research shows that time-based intervention can improve self-control

A study conducted by researchers at Kansas State University is the first to demonstrate increases in both self-control and timing precision as a result of a time-based intervention.
