Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare commends CMS for stopping pre-claim review demonstration

The Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare — a coalition of home health providers dedicated to improving the integrity, quality, and efficiency of home healthcare for our nation's seniors — today commended the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for stopping the planned implementation of a Pre-Claim Review Demonstration in Florida, which would have applied new, mandatory regulatory requirements on all home health agenciesoperating across the state on April 1.

Recent research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that during pregnancy, and particularly during the third trimester, large amounts of choline may be needed to support fetal development. Conclusions of the research revealed that current recommendations may be too low.
