ASAPS supports new national registry for breast implants

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) announces today its support of a new national registry for breast implants that will be compiled by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This registry will document reported cases of a very rare condition, Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL), in the presence of breast implants.

VDF announces launch of new PAD exercise training toolkit for health professionals

The Vascular Disease Foundation announced the launch of its new "Peripheral Arterial Disease Exercise Training Toolkit: A Guide for Health Care Professionals." Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Report for July 2010

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index dropped slightly to 67.1 in July from June's second-highest score of 67.3 and shows a modest retraction in the nation's well-being rebound, with a fall in four of the six sub-indices comprising the Index. A portion of the overall dip is attributed to the continued decline in the Work Environment.
