To ensure that this issue remains a top priority on the EU policy agenda, ESMO -the leading European professional organization for medical oncology, collaborated with the European Parliament to organize a cross-partisan event entitled "Shortages of Inexpensive, Essential Medicines: Calling for Tangible Political Commitments in the EU".
A new report released today based on research by Emory University Health Care Economist Ken Thorpe, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD), shows increasing obesity rates in New Jersey and across the country will result in higher health care spending for states and individuals.
