President Barack Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday "focused on jobs, budget trimming, and investment, but he also underscored foreign policy concerns and outlined an approach to international relations with 'a new level of engagement,'" CBS News' "Political Hotsheet" blog reports.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) asked local public healthcare professionals to gather information about the geographic distribution of these two mosquito species as a result of the growing apprehensions about Zika virus since 2015.
Members of the fiscally conservative, Democratic Blue Dog Coalition on Monday sent a letter to the chairs of three House committees who have been tasked with drafting health care legislation, saying they are "increasingly troubled" by the exclusivity of the process, the New York Times reports.
