Food allergies pose a serious and growing problem in the West. Many foods can lead to allergic reactions and this situation is further complicated by so-called cross-reactions, whereby an allergy to one particular food can trigger allergic reactions to another food. Unions, which were disappointed in an administration decision to keep a tax on their group health plans, are not jumping in to help the White House in the battle to get the public signed on to the law. Meanwhile advocates and insurers are spending time with general messaging about the health care law until the marketplace website is working.
A recent study demonstrating that the treatment of nasolabial folds with Restylane positively influences the first impression that an individual projects was published by Dr. Steven Dayan (www.drdayan.com) and DeNova research in the November 2010 issue of Dermatologic Surgery, a leading Dermatology journal. In a study 20 patients received Restylane the popular hyaluronic filler to fill in the nasolabial folds which run from the side of the nose to the side of the mouth.
