FDA approves orphan drug designation for Cytrx's INNO-206 to treat pancreatic cancer

CytRx Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in oncology, today announced that its tumor-targeting pro-drug candidate INNO-206 has been approved for orphan drug designation for the treatment of patients with pancreatic cancer by the Office of Orphan Products Development of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Hospice Care

Hospice care is a type of care and philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient's pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs. The four primary levels of care provided by hospice are routine home care, continuous care, general inpatient and respite care.
