Diabetic women get less intense treatment of heart disease than men

Women with type 2 diabetes and heart disease have poorer control of both diseases and receive less intensive medical treatment than do men, a large new study found. The results have been presented Sunday, June 15, at The Endocrine Society's 90th Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

But only one per cent got behind the wheel and drove to the hospital.

Cymbalta improves cognitive function in elderly patients with depression

Elderly patients with depression treated with Cymbalta (duloxetine hydrochloride), 60 mg once daily, had twice as much improvement in verbal learning and recalling information than those given a sugar pill, according to new research presented Saturday at the annual meeting of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.
