Doctors Likelier to Delay Prescribing Antiretroviral Drugs for Women and Minority HIV Patients

A new UCLA study finds that doctors who follow guidelines recommending the delay of antiretroviral therapy for non-adherent HIV patients are likelier to put off that treatment for Latinos, women and poor patients than they do for others. In addition, doctors are slower to prescribe protease inhibitors for African American patients whether or not the physician follows the guidelines.

Social media is more detrimental to girls' mental health than for boys'

Yet another study has revealed that more time spent on social media translates into higher rates of depression especially among young girls. The new study reveals that girls are worst affected by depression due to poor sleep and online bullying compared to boys.

The recall is for five batches of Heritage-brand Belgian Milk Chocolate Egg with chocolate truffles in a 270-gram package, sold exclusively through Coles supermarkets. The product contains almond, hazelnut and gluten, but these ingredients are not listed on the package due to a labeling error.
