Penwest Pharmaceuticals signs drug development and commercialization agreement with Alvogen

Penwest Pharmaceuticals Co. today announced that it has signed a drug development and commercialization agreement with Alvogen, Inc. under which Penwest and Alvogen have agreed to identify and select up to five compounds for generic development.
