This is the conclusion drawn from a pioneer study conducted at the University of Granada, and recently published in the International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology (IJCHP).
"We as Democrats respect the results of yesterday's special election in one state, Massachusetts, and will shortly welcome Senator-elect Scott Brown to Washington. In the same spirit I call upon our Republican colleagues to respect the results of the 50-state election that led to the inauguration, just one year ago today, of President Barack Obama. That 50-state election of 2008 produced overwhelming majorities in both houses of Congress for the Obama program of progress, dignity and equity, especially in his advocacy for comprehensive healthcare reform.
A study led by researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine suggests that use of oral Vitamin D supplements bolsters production of a protective chemical normally found in the skin, and may help prevent skin infections that are a common result of atopic dermatitis, the most common form of eczema.
The American Beverage Association (ABA) has approved a policy aimed at limiting the sale of soft drinks in school vending machines as the nation fights obesity.
An international team, led by researchers from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona, Spain, David Andreu and Rafael Maldonado, has developed a peptides family that allows delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main component of Cannabis sativa, to fight pain in mice without side effects.
