New research from the University of Minnesota Medical School suggests that disease-driving B cells, a white blood cell, play a role in the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) - the most common chronic liver condition in the U.S.
"Breastfeeding is a hot topic. We know it is beneficial for most babies and that many are not getting breastfed," said lead study author Jessica Robbins, Ph.D., a public health epidemiologist with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
One of the panel sessions at the ‘Mercury 2013' International Conference in Edinburgh (28th July – 2nd Aug) "will be highly contentious and should result in a heated debate," says Prof. K. Clive Thompson who will be chairing the session with Eric Uram from SafeMinds.
The Associated Press reports that those who purchase coverage directly from insurers must do it within open enrollment periods, unless they experience a life-changing event such as a move or a job change.
