Fracture liaison systems help reduce burden of fragility fractures

Adynovate approved for patients with Hemophilia A

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Adynovate, Antihemophilic Factor (Recombinant), PEGylated for use in adults and adolescents, aged 12 years and older, who have Hemophilia A. Adynovate is modified to last longer in the blood and potentially require less frequent injections than unmodified Antihemophilic Factor when used to reduce the frequency of bleeding.

Physical activity effective in reducing sclerostin in premenopausal women

A study to be published in the Endocrine Society's Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (JCEM) suggests that physical activity for premenopausal women is very effective in reducing sclerostin-a known inhibitor of bone formation.
