QuadraMed Corporation is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Connected Technology Solutions, a leading interactive kiosk design and creative marketing company. As part of the agreement, QuadraMed's intuitive point-of-service patient registration solution, QuadraMed MediKiosk, will run on CTS kiosk technology, offering organizations a proven, cost-effective patient registration and check-in solution.
Octapharma AG, one of the largest global manufacturers of human proteins, today announced the enrolment of the first two patients in its GAM-27 Phase II/III clinical trial for the treatment of relapsing multiple sclerosis. Through intravenous administration of immunoglobulin (Octagam 5%), the study seeks to support the overall clinical benefit of a lower annualised relapse rate in patients where first-line treatment is not suitable.
Maternal depression in the postpartum period, and even beyond, is associated with the development of atopic dermatitis throughout childhood and adolescence, according to a recent study published in the journal Dermatitis.
While initial studies suggest a potential relationship between air pollution and both infertility and menstrual irregularity, researchers from Boston University School of Medicine believe more studies are needed to validate these findings in other populations.
