A new study has found that mentally stimulating activities like using a computer, playing games, crafting and participating in social activities are linked to a lower risk or delay of age-related memory loss called mild cognitive impairment, and that the timing and number of these activities may also play a role.
Novartis today announced full results from the positive Phase III PARADIGMS study, investigating the safety and efficacy of Gilenya (fingolimod) vs. interferon beta-1a, in children and adolescents (ages 10 to 17) with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Barbara Murray, M.D., director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School, was recognized by the Association of Rice Alumni at its Laureates Dinner May 16.
